Remote Working - Test At Home First

All,

It appears I'm off on my travels again. This time it is back to Japan for 3 months.

Just read and excellent 'try before you buy' about remote working, from the WebWorkerDaily Website.

I can't agree more. Remote working kinks can be ironed out before you hit those foreign shores. In addition your bag will be lighter...no foreign adaptor plugs and hopefully where you live, they speak your language too. Although sometimes around here that doesn't always seem the case.

EFT - Stuck No More

All,

In my last post I wrote about clearing your stuff. Letting go of the can'ts, should nots, would nots, musts and needs.

I'm a practitioner of Hypnosis, NLP and Time-Line. I've had great success in the past with these techniques. Yet for the past few months I've been stuck, certainly with Time-Line and letting go of my own stuff. Everything happens for a positive reason. I was eventually shown the way to the technique called EFT.

I heard about EFT during a recent hypnosis training and I thought no more of it. Then, a month or so again. I was shown EFT again. I then decided to give it a go. Wow is all I can say. The technique has so far just blown me away. I've been using it on myself for a variety of issues, limiting decisions and negative emotions nearly daily for the past month. I've found e-books, teleseminars. I've listened to and tapped alone with and to everything.

What is EFT ?

EFT is basically tapping with your fingers on certain meridian points around your body, whilst saying phrases out loud to yourself. This tapping clears the energy blocks that you have within your body. These energy blocks are you negative emotions, limiting decisions etc i.e. anger, fear, sadness, guilt, impatience and frustration. By releasing them, you let go of much that you have been holding on to. This then allows you to focus on what you want, not on what you don't want i.e. feeling angry and unhappy. That is it in a nut shell. Don't be deceived by its simplicity!

Two practitioners that I highly recommend and are really shaking things up for me are :

Carol Look . Her Abundance Book has been brilliant for me, found here .

and

Brad Yates His Money Beyond Belief Series has been really powerful stuff for me. Even when I got stuck on the eft process on what they call the set-up phrase. I emailed him and he replied. Always good in my book!

I like EFT because I can do it anywhere and at any time. Trust me I have. I'm often found walking out and about tapping myself. (What came up for you as I said that - what did you say to yourself? Your issue not mine...happy days!) A round of EFT can take less than a minutes, quicker than most inductions and other techniques that I know of - brilliant. We all have a minute. Oh yes you do - how many times do you go to the toilet or have a coffee/tea break in a day.

Does it work ?

You bet. The beauty of EFT is that even if you don't think it is working, just tap along anyway. I wanted to attract a piano. When I was younger I had a great opportunity to play and learn. I never did. Since 'growing up', I learnt the piano is such a great social instrument, an ice breaker. Even when I've been travelling, hotels and hostels often have one. I had been tapping away, not even thinking about a piano, yet I'd written it down as one of my goals and I had a picture of it on my vision board that I see every day out of the corner of my eye. Well I've got one and not just a piano. I've manifested a BABY GRAND!!! The best thing - it has only cost me delivery, moving it from one house to another. If you let go of the how something will happen or show up, things happen much faster!

You're Unhappy

All,

I just heard the following :

You're only unhappy because you don't want to face reality

I pondered this for a moment. I really got it.

It was from the following : Shut Up Stop Whining & Get A Life

Think about it. You can only really change your life if you decide you've had enough. You have to realise that you are the one totally in control and responsible for what you get. Why did this really sink in?

I've been unhappy, why because I didn't want to face up to my current situation. What that I desperately wanted to change, but didn't want to enough so that I would. Well guess what, once you start taking control and start making even the smallest of changes...YOU FEEL BETTER!

I think most of us have heard by now of writing down your goals and taking action. How many of us really take action?

A small action is a small change If you have a goal of owning a new car i.e. Porsche. What is a small action - booking a test drive. How many of you, walk into the garage and take a look and book that test drive? If you are uncomfortable..that is good. If you can complete the drive, you are beginning to tell yourself I'm worthy of a car like this.

I remember going into my 1st Porsche garage, my heart was beating before I'd even opened the door. Once I just sat down and said I know nothing except I want a Porsche and it has to be a convertible, everything else was easy as pie. I got to choose my Porsche there and then. Stuff did come up, but I cleared it. More on that tomorrow.

Another example, you want a flat/house. What is stopping you of booking an appointment to look around the type of houses that you want to life in. If you can't just look around. Do you really want a house like that? What are you telling yourself if you can't?

Listen to the can't, shouldn't, wouldn't, musts and needs. If a friend were to ask you why didn't you do that. What are you're excuses? Time to get rid of them!!
