Talk Your Goals Into Existence

I've not exactly been the happiest person these last few weeks. Various things have happened that I've had to deal with. However everything does happen for a positive reason. One such is I've not been very happy with my boss. I often talk to myself...alot. Recently I've taken to talking and moaning about my boss. Then I stopped and said to myself wow...what am I doing, what am I focusing on? Low and behold, my boss really does get under my skin.

Then I thought what if I talk with all the emotion that I do about my boss and my current work situation about my future goals? So that is what I've started to do. Talk to myself as if my goals have already happened. I talk as though I've already achieved my goals as that is how the 'experts' tell us to write about our goals.

I now have X. Having X is great because I can now X.

I know 'physically' I don't have them in the here and now, yet I'm focusing on them and putting one hell of alot of emotion into the talking...In addition I feel really good having had a little chat with myself. Much better than moaning about my boss!!!

What could you talk into being?

Who Wants To Be a Millionaire ?

All,

I'm thinking about a project. Does anybody know of somebody who has made £/$1,000,000 in less than 12 months and has kept the original sum of money or increased it significantly after the initial 12 months and for at least for 5 years. It doesn't have to be a person you know in the flesh. Somebody I can read or learn about will be just as good.

Happy Travels at Christmas.

How to Remember Your Phobias

All,

I've been busily revising for my up and coming hypnosis exam. Looking over a past paper I was given and the required areas of revision. The examine seems quite keen on having us know what a fear of X is called.

ie Acrophobia is a fear of heights. I thought I'd share with you how I remembered 20 phobias within about 3 mins and then a 2 extra review session

When you want to remember something your mind likes to place the information somewhere. It needs to be able to locate the information sometime in the future. Therefore when I think of phobias I think of my hypnosis classroom and a particular corner. Everytime I want to remember something about phobias I know this is the first place to think of.

The location is the 1st place, your initial reaction when you think of something. Some other 'locations' are: Doctor's surgery, Cave. The actually location and why you go there isn't important. You just need to think of that same place each time.

Then it is basically an equation acrophobia=fear of heights

Let us cut it down, all phobias end in the stem phobia..so we can drop that. The = is always going to be fear of X. So that can go too.

So now it becomes acro=heights.

When you think of the prefix acro what do you think of? What does it remind you of? It has to be the very first thing you think of. I think acrobat. This ties in great with heights. Think of an acrobat swinging through the air in your location. You need to add movement I think best so you remember it as quickly as possible. The more outrageous the image the better.

Another example is Pantophobia. This is a fear of everything.

Location same as above

Therefore Panto=Everything. The first time I read this I thought it said Planet.. So now everytime I am in my corner I see a Man holding a planet.

Easy,
